Global Observatory of Innovation and Research

The Global Observatory of Innovation and Research constitutes an international framework for analysis, strategic monitoring and cooperation dedicated to knowledge governance, the promotion of scientific research and the strengthening of sustainable innovation. It supports States, institutions, universities, research centers, the private sector and development partners in building scientific systems that are more open, ethical, inclusive and oriented toward sustainable human development.

Through the production of reliable data, foresight studies, indicators, cooperation platforms, capacity-building programs and technology transfer mechanisms, the Observatory contributes to reducing scientific and technological gaps between regions of the world, promoting open science and transforming knowledge into a tool for public decision-making, responsible competitiveness and shared progress. In line with the 2030 Agenda, particularly SDGs 4, 9, 10 and 17, it positions research and innovation as essential drivers of intellectual sovereignty, international cooperation, cognitive justice, institutional resilience and sustainable development for peoples.
