International Institute for Capacity Building and Training (IICBT)

The International Institute for Capacity Building and Training (IICBT) is a specialized structure of the World Association for Development (WAD) devoted to the development of human capital and the strengthening of institutional capacities. It responds to the skills gap, the inadequacy of training systems and the growing adaptation needs of public, private and community actors.

The IICBT designs and implements programs of training, mentoring and instructional design tailored to the contemporary realities of development. It incorporates innovative approaches, digital tools, international standards and academic and professional partnerships in order to strengthen individual, organizational and institutional competencies.

By supporting education, employability, governance, inclusion and the performance of institutions, the IICBT positions itself as an international centre of excellence for capacity building. Its action aims to transform investments in training into lasting, measurable results that are useful to societies, economies and institutions.
